Fungus

It has been quite a demanding time recently, just one thing on top of another, so a wander in the woods with the sound of the river below, then to the pool to do the slowest 32 lengths possible (it felt like swimming through treacle again today!) was probably "just what the doctor ordered". Kids and dogs seemed to enjoy themselves anyway.

This was a cut down tree, part of a pile ,alongside the path. I love fungus. It comes in fantastic shapes and colours (and it sometimes appears in the strangest of places).
