Stir-Up Sunday

In keeping with the tradition, which I had never heard of until yesterday, BB got stuck into making the Christmas Cake.

So the house in now full of Christmassy smells - warm spice, warm rum and cooking cake but unfortunately I won't be able to have a taste for at least another month.

I on the other hand have done nothing all day - some reading, some diddling and a rather nice dinner is on the way.

We're a bit food obsessed or so BB says.
