Diarmuids adventure

Mudeford Quay

should be painting but escaped to the Quay for a brief walk, lots of starling amongst the lobster pots today.

We're Starlings Me Darlings:

What we'd rather do, is wait here for you,

To put out some bread for the tits,

And then when we are certain, you're there by the curtain,

We flocks down and tears it to bits.
Pam Ayres

These are birds with attitude; they don't hop, they strut. They go around in gangs and as a Scots bird watcher was heard to say: They are like the Irish, they'll pick fights with themselves.
No stereotyping there then :-)
