Blip the Blipper
K with all her schoolwork and extra activities has been swamped such that she has not had access to her camera during the ever foreshortening daylight hours in Alaska. To rectify her daylight dry spell, we went to a scenic over look of the Matanuska River a couple of miles north of Palmer. We could only tolerate it for a few minutes as the wind was kicking up and the temperature was in the teens. Notice that the ground snow is all but gone from last week's "heat wave" and sublimation. Only the mountains hold a significant cache of snow.
