Herman

Herman has the best smile. Unfortunately, he chose not to give me one when I asked to take his photograph.
We had a very interesting chat in my apartment today while he fixed my broken blinds. His smiles touch the lives of those who live here. I know it.

In other news, Foley came to town today! We went to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter. I took a nap in the movie theater before it started. Necessary.

This was not the portrait I wanted to take. Alas, it is all I have. It was also an important connection made. I really enjoyed getting to know Herman. He works hard serving my neighbors and me. I am very grateful for his presence here and to hear a part of his testimony.
