New hamster pied-a-terre

This morning came the shout "Mummy Nibbles is in the kitchen" our Houdini of a hamster had eaten her way out of her 2nd Ovo cage!

So it was off to Pets at Home to try and find the least gnawable cage.... why hasn't someone invented a hamster proof hamster cage yet?

Photo is of the Princess palace that my 7 yo daughter adored. Let's hope that the anti-gnaw rings actually work...

Hamsters are cheap to buy as a pet but 3 cages in 14 months is an ouch on my bank balance...
