Magdeburg, 19th century

This is a cutout of a huge oil painting image of the town's silhouete in the early 19th century - and if I say huge, I mean it.

Have been back in time today while visiting the local "Museum für Naturkunde". Went there randomly and got into an exhibition about writer, music composer and humanist Marie Nathusius who lived during the era of Biedermeier.
