Comings and Goings

Half day at the office so that I could collect Miss Heidi who was coming in from London for the weekend. She's been twice before, but this time she came without her partners in crime. I was looking forward to seeing her of course, but there was an unprecedented level of excitement, as she was bringing my shiny, new iPhone with her! I had been very patient after falling foul of the restrictions on being able to just walk into an Apple store to buy one, when I was home a few weeks ago. (That's another, boring story)

Anyway - home via Era - my Polish phone provider, to collect a micro-sim and then back to mine for tea and home-made brownies (which I was disappointed with in that they weren't nearly as good as the ones I'd made before) and a few hours of chit-chat.

We got over the 'can't be bothered to go out' feeling and joined the boys for dinner at the new Flaming & Co. restaurant in town. They'd been to the opera so it was a late start but then we went back to Tony's for night-caps. I say that in the plural sense... The second 3am finish of the week.
