Mind over matter

Has anyone else tried these? They're potatoes, and they're purple. I'm not sure about this. I mean, they're not just a little bit purple, they're properly purple. (Clare you'd appreciate their purpleness). We made them into chips. It just seems wrong. And it would seem wrong dipping them in red or brown sauce so I opted for Mayo and that was wrong too. I'm confused. But I'm up for purple mash next...
