Just Plain Strange

This presentation of items at a local restaurant caught my eye. The lighting is a bit weird and I was going to do all kinds of processing to it, but it's strange enough just as it is.

I composed the shot so the two wooden chairs were just on the edges for size comparison. This is a ceramic drum. You can see a skin stretched over the top and it has to be about 3 feet tall (one meter), and about 4 feet along the top. Sitting on top of this drum (the green thingy), is a solid piece of oxidized iron ore. It must have weighed close to 50 lbs (22.7kg). Very unusual and I wasn't in a place where I could inquire about it.
