Life and Death

I was walking out of work today when I saw these two trees. Not far apart, but completely different. Each was in it's own stage of life. I stood beneath the one that still had so much life and snapped this picture.

It was as I was watching a friend die from afar, knowing that I was going to experience the same fate.
