FROM WHERE I SIT -- NO. 4
This isn't where I sit downstairs. I did that picture later in the day, fire glowing in the wood burning stove, but it looked lifeless. I tried to get Cloud to sit in front of it but she refused. She has to wear a muzzle because she tore a hole in her leg when out in the woods, had six stitches which she has reduced to four. She is depressed.
This is from where I sit upstairs, provided I stretch my head above the computer and open the window. Well, all right, I did stand up and go to the window.
It was taken at about 7:30 in the morning. I was so stunned to see the sun come up that I did a lot of clicking of the big event. The sun is gone now, but here is proof that it exists.
Italy cannot compete with the UK on bright red dawns and sunsets. I suspect the reason for this is that the UK has volcanic ash in the air whereas Italy does not. This is as red as it gets.
This cloud picture is uploaded in full defiance of Himself. He thinks the fireplace shot is better. Yes, but I can do that again whereas who knows when the dawn will be bright again.
Late addition: Himself and Alessandro with our largest load of olives, ever, off to the press. Piaggio with olives.
