Mini Chip Snowball Cookies

It's a baking day. The storm of yesterday is passed and we have occasional showers and once in a while the sun peeks out to tell us it's still there. Hubby feels terribly deprived if there are no cookies around. I blame his mother for this, as she was the cookie queen. I do enjoy making cookies most times, but this new 'thing' I have, diverticulosis, sort of flared up on me yesterday and I'm feeling a bit punk. But I do have strength enough to bake a few treats, and hopefully enough energy to cook a whole chicken up for dinner.
