more is not always better

Those apple trees I spoke of yesterday are back... again it was a day of on & off sunshine... and although my baby girl (I'm not a baby Mom) is still quite ill with those darned chicken pox, she is showing signs of being on the mend. She's feeling well enough this afternoon to be a tad grumpy so that is good news. Still no real time for the camera, but I did manage to sneak a peek in the back garden again.

These lovely apples have gone back to nature - not exactly a waste but that is a bit what it seems like. What is it that causes me to view this sight as a reminder of the things I've not found time to do? Wouldn't it be better to be reminded of how lovely and crispy we found the apples we DID pick and eat? These are Claire's favorites... but she said she didn't want these for some reason.
