The Swine!

Yesterday I was boasting and feeling smug at dont just having done the belssed report but getting it in a full day before the due date! This morning I got an email from the office lass saying my report arrived but was all jumbled! I could have cried I do so hate fecking technology when it goes tits up! Anyhows went over to my lovely computer geek cousin and he sorted it in two or three clicks!! grrr I wish I was as compus mentus with flaming computers as that. Anyhos it went back to the office and this time was perfecto - job done! back to being smug.

Still on a roll I decided to get the dinner sorted early and though yes I will roast this lovely jubly piece of gammon. when I opened it , it smelled of ...elephants! yes elephants, you know that smell you got when you were a kid and your mammy dragged you out to see the elifunks after the circus at the the Kelvin Hall? . It wasnt a rotten smell coming from the gammon, just not a porky one. Anhows I got to roasting it but when I took it off and cut a bit to try, god was it salty!!!!!!!!! brought a tear to my eye and stung my lips. Not sure if either of us can eat it, its just not kosher! so will go canny with it when I dish it up, might try it on the dogs first or the hubby! . I usually buy all my meat fresh from known sources, this one came via my bouver in law, nuff said perhaps!

Anyhos if there is no blip tomorrow you will realise that the piggy just didnt bring home the bacon!

Have a tasty blip evening all
The above picture is of a once brassed off piggy which was alwyas shiny as my husbands uncle always loved to polish it. Sadly the uncle passed away some years back and poor piggers has lost its glossy piggy coat.
