Keys in hand
Today was a special day, so here is a photo to record it. This is my Mum, R, who has been unable to drive for 9 weeks. She developed double vision and was thought to have had a stroke. Two brain scans later, there is no sign of a stroke. A trip to the opticians provided the solution for the double vision - a new prescription with prisms.
Here she is with the keys in her hand, about to take her first drive. She is a very keen driver, and feels she can stay independent when she drives.
This was taken with a point and shoot (hence the blown out highlights), but you can see my reflection. I'm very happy to have such a good outcome when Mum may have had to give up driving.
By the way, she is 89!
PS We both have keys in our hands - by sheer chance large
