Laughter, memories and the future

It has been a funny old day full of laughter, memories and the future that has got me thinking about lots of things.

I had a quick morning at work part of which I spent an amusing 4 minute telephone conversation with a 4 year old boy trying to get him to fetch his mum who was none the wiser that he was talking to me and thought he was just talking to the TV!

In the afternoon I went to visit an old work boss. It has been over 12 years since I left that job and I have to say it is one of the few jobs I can genuinely say I actually enjoyed. We have kept in touch over the years although it has been a long time since we have met up in person. It was great to see her and strange to be in my old work environment, in some ways it doesn't seem two minutes since I left.

I have also been thinking lots about a friend and her family today, you know who you are. x
