Fight for what you believe in.

In the University of the Philippines, we are very vocal about a lot of issues. We are more often than not, branded as activists, people who complain complain and complain. A lot of people think of it negatively. Take my parents for example.

However, this is the time that UP will ultimately unleash our voices. We cannot merely stand by and watch plagiarism win. We, in the academe, want ideas to be given credit, even if it is "lack of malicious intent". We cannot idly sit in our chairs and watch the Supreme Court condemn our Law faculty for pointing out something that is just and right.

Today was the Restore Integrity March against intellectual dishonesty in UP with the College of Law. I was not able to join as my friend had a play in Ateneo and we wanted to support him. However, I took this picture of ribbons around our Academic Oval to show disgust over intellectual dishonesty.
