What so early?

Most people think of Galanthus as only a winter or very early spring treat. In reality almost all genera of spring flowering bulbs from Europe, Asia Minor, and North Africa have autumn flowering realtives. Narcissus, Crocus and Galanthus all have autumn flowering members.

This is Galanthus peshmanii whichh so far has proven to be the best fall blooming Galanthus for Colorado. Its nice to have Galanthus in November and again Jan to March with the more traditional spring flowering species
