Dunfermline 0 - 1 Dundee

A good and important win for Dundee today. Both sides were pretty mince in the first half, a few dangerous crosses and a pars shot cleared out the box at the last second were the only real high points.

Dundee picked up the tempo in the 2nd half, and by keeping the ball on the Deck were the far better side. Davidson was subbed for Sturm, with Lyle being switched for Zemlik after he bottled a good chance.

Kevin McDonald got the winner, a great pass saw Sturm skin Sol Bamba, and with Alan Main caught in no mans land, he calmly passed to McDonald who blased it into the net.

Dundee had other chances to increase their lead, but nearly paid when a dipping Dunfermline shot just creaped over the bar and hit one of the net supports.

They never really looked like scoring however, and Dundee came away with a well deserved 3 points.

Im going to have to remember not to go to the football and eat at the ground after a night out. One thing that rocks about their ground though is that the Catering is done by a proper bakers. Something Dundee could certainly learn from!
