Deserted Dovedale

We got to Ilam around 1.00 and togged up for a walk across to Dovedale via The Izaak Walton and back over the ridge towards Stanshope.
When we got to Dovedale we almost had it to ourselves, every other time we've visited it has always been full of visitors.
A very pleasant walk only marred by the rain which started 30 minutes before we got back to the car.
Never mind.
