Scooters.
Busy day today. A bit dissapointing because I ordered a camera for next day delivery, it didn't arrive. Perhaps tomorrow.
The scooter in the window was ridden the length of Britain in aid of charity:-
The pilots from the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows and 4 of the Fighter Pilots from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will take part in a sponsored scooter ride across the entire length of mainland UK in support of a number of charities. In their BAE Systems Hawk aircraft the Red Arrows pilots would cover the distance in a little over an hour but the riders will travel on Vespa 125S scooters, taking 4 days to complete the 1000 mile journey at the end of the 2010 Display Season.
Starting on the 28th Sept from Lands End there will be many stop points on the way including one in Bristol. They aim to finish on the 3rd Oct in John O Groats.
The pilots all signed all the bikes and they will be sold over and above their retail price and everything above trade will go to charity. Sounds like a good idea.
