Reflective: ma I...
Got up, shower went hot burning hot cold ffffreeezing hot burning etc every minute or less. Grrrr!! So took longer than normal and had no time for breakie :(
Geography Ambassador training from 9-11:30am - learning how to present to children in schools etc. It's a scheme set up by the RGS (Royal Geographical Society) for people (usually students) to encourage school children to do geography (numbers taking geography in schools has been dropping in the last 10 years)
Then straight down to town to book flights to New Zealand!! YAAAAYYY!!! By bank balance looks rather hurt, but tis so worth it :D
Then straight up to a talk in the National Library of Wales on Peasant life in Ceredigion. First thing the introducer asked was if anyone from the RSPB was there!?... as it had been advertised in one newspaper as Pheasants life in Ceredigion!!! Tee hee.
Talk was interesting and had lunch after with David and Norma, which was great :)
Then went down to the sea to watch the sunset... but there were too many clouds, and not of the 'make a nice picture' variety. Instead there were great waves (though not as big as yesterday!!). I'm standing in an area where the waves kept breaking over the top (hence the reflection). Always nice to have a bit of uncertainty, bit of 'unknown' in your pictures - 'am I going to get soaked?' :P
Just thought it made an interesting image. The colours are actually really cool in the picture - I'll link later, but I decided it made a stronger image in B&W, hope you like :)
