Amidst the fog....

I went out at lunch time in search of a very mysterious misty image....to match the atmosphere out there today! So misty, so grey but so beautiful....I really love what the mist and fog does to the environment! I took shots of the pond, shrouded in a stillness that was so evocative....the trees, bare of their leaves, standing tall and majestic, reaching into the clouds of fog.....but then my eye spotted some colour.....well, i have to say i was totally seduced and spent the next 20 minutes checking out these amazing colours at the bottom of the garden. I have no idea what this plant is, but there were so many in these various shades of purple, pink, orange and blue.....i liked this one best cos it did hint at the darkness the surrounded us!

having a very productive day in the studio....and just heading back there to load the first of 3 kilns to be fired by next week!
