Woo hoo! It's stopped raining...

...and to celebrate, I headed out for an early morning bike ride. My first proper solo mission on a bike and I only nearly was hit by a car once, which is not too bad. I've been trying to work on the cycling component for the New Year's Day triathlon and I have to say that I'm starting to convert and maybe am even enjoying it a little. Once I get skinny tyres on my bike, this should help too as I'm still deadly slow.

It was great this morning as they had stopped the trafiic over the bridge at one stage (not sure why) so it was just me, in silence (apart from the wind) and a fantastic view.
