Fiddlers Ferry Power Station and the moon
Today I went to collect Bob from the kennels. I always find it easier to get back in to his good books by taking him for a walk when I collect him. Not that he dislikes the kennels and always seems quite pleased when he gets there.
So we went to the little forest and hill where the statue of the Dream is located. The day is freezing and very still. The views from the top stretch right over the Cheshire Plain and over to the Welsh Hills. The smoke from the power station looms very large though it doesn't turn pink with the sunset perhaps because the sun sank below a bank of clouds sending its light up rather than across.
