Happiness is ....

..... Living in Denmark, apparently. The poster in the shot "Lykken er..." means happiness is and according to Forbes magazine and several other researches Denmark is the happiest nation on earth (apart from HPI which puts them at 99 - don't quite get that but...) Anyway, I put it down to the fact that they expect so little and are really,really pleased when things go right. They therefore put a lot of effort into making sure things go right, which also makes them happy. I guess a 100% literacy rate and 75-80% of adults are more than acceptable in two languages helps, oh, and students get paid to go to university - just thought I'd mention that too. Oh, and while I'm at it, the minimum wage here is around £11 per hour or close to $20.

And these guys are waiting for a subsidised bus ride home that will be on time.
