Bevy of beauties + 1

Roses are continuing to fascinate me. Their scent, the velvety petals, the vibrant colours, the details.

I found these beauties in N's garden earlier. The fly? Well, it was there and I haven't had many insects to macro to death (no flies were hurt in the making of this shot!).

Today would be a 'survival' day. I'm so tired.

Early to bed. I packed up my winter gear today, so a cold snap is bound to be heading our way!
