Felt like being crafty!

A lovely bright sunny cold day today so my sister and Tessa came round to see Ollie and me. We went for a good bracing cliff top walk then came back and had home made Cauliflower and Cheddar Cheese soup. Then we got all crafty and Christmassy! She did the cutting out and I did the sewing - I don't think we'll be hitting the big time any time soon!

Also made marrow and ginger jam; a neighbour keeps giving us huge marrows and I usually stuff them with mince or ratatouille and bake them, today it was jam. Very lovely and golden, tastes like pineapple jam that we had as kids, but with a warm glow of ginger in it. Very nice on hot toast!
