Johnny Doyle R.I.P

On the 19th October 1981 Johnny Doyle a professional footballer with Celtic F.C. died of electrocution whilst rewiring his home. I remember being at school and hearing the news. Shortly afterwards this graffiti appeared in Grangemouth. Due to it's location it's not faded that much. The wee man still has his memorial on the side of some council garages in Grangemouth.

He was a great player, if a little susceptible to getting sent off.......
