Coming and going

Tonight's blip was probably going to be something as exciting the tea and coffee supplies in the hotel room in Milton Keynes; but the train south was terminated at Carlisle due to overhead lines being down in the Lake District. Carlisle station was milling with large numbers of confused and fretful travellers; there was talk of replacement coaches but having been taken in by that before I found a train that was returning to Edinburgh. The train staff were all ending up in the wrong places as well as the trains.

I'll have to try for the sparrowfart departure tomorrow - should just make it for the meeting if not the lunch, as long as everything runs to time. Hah!
