This is the deepest underground escalator in Europe, situated at Angel tube station on the Northern Line and taken as I head into Oxford St. to buy a a video game in English for the son of our Spanish neighbour in Barcelona.

It's also appropriate as a visual metaphor for the learning experience I am embarked upon in my studies in London. It feels good to explore and grow.
