"This could be the last time ... "

At Aston University for an Identity Management Matters Workshop. The number of nights I've spent away from home over the last 20 years is not inconsequential; I'm no salesman always on the road, but stays in rooms like this one have been part of my life which I'll not miss when I retire next month.

Of course I may not miss the rooms, the dry air, the extreme heating and the packaged food but I will miss the association with colleagues, the chatter, the exchange of ideas and the hatching of plans. I somehow suspect I'll keep that going but I'll be travelling under my own steam from now on, or should I say diesel, as #duettovan takes the strain.
