FLYING TANKS

I know they sting - but I really dont know how they fly ? They defy the logic of aerodynamics and strength to weight ratios and I guess there are others logics they by-pass.

My methodology for these jokers is to set up on a flower and wait till they arrive!
I go onto manual focus and reckon on their flight path - a bit like the birdies really - seems to work OK. I used my bird lense - to keep out of the fright zone.

One needs to set aside at least an hour and shoot plenty of film! - film -film whats that??
I had a couple of contenders for todays Blip but chose this one in the end.
I'm told by Mrs Poo the flower is Phacilia -
