Time Traveller

This morning I awoke and headed into my time travel machine to see what my new town was like in 1903. There was a canal wharf, a traditional butchers and green grocers and a post office where the lady wants to know who you are and where you live. Friendly neighbours, people who say hello in the morning and even upcoming carols round the tree ... hang on it's 2007, not an internet cafe in sight ..
Sometimes I love the fact that Shropshire never quite catches up with the rest of society. Sometimes I hate it. Must get my broadband sorted though, I think I'm wasting about an hour a day catching up on blips at work!
