what Sienna and I learnt today

Today Sienna learnt that if you think frost is beautiful and interesting and that running your gloved hands along it as it clings to a wooden fence is fun then there is a reaction for your action.

She now knows that her hands will get wet and cold and the fun she was having will stop...

I meanwhile have learnt that if I want my child to be excited by frost and run her hands along it - then to increase her pleasure and ultimately mine, I should really put her waterproof gloves on when there are days like today.

Even at my age learning all the time!
