Vienna part 1

Long day today, starting at 3:00am! Flight to Amsterdam was fine but then a delay with the flight from Amsterdam and a long connection time anyway.

But, still arrived at the hotel ok. Not what I was expecting, but fine and very central. I´m afraid that there were very few blipopportunities today, so you´re stuck with a blurred self-portrait of me with hair still straight from the hairdressers and, as it turned out, overdressed for the evening.

My host, Stefan picked me up from the hotel just before 7 and we had a nice walk around the old part of the city (KG heels coping admirably with the cobbles) and yes, I should have blipped Vienna bei nacht, but didn´t.

We went to a lovely local bar (hence the black frock and heels was overkill) and had a November speciality of goose, with dumplings and red cabbage - plus beer and wine.

Then I got to see the inside of a truly stunning, Viennese flat - twice the size of my house with huge windows and high ceilings. I didn´t like to ask I could take a photo though. Quick coffee and then back to my (now small-looking hotel room).

An interesting start, if not quite what I was expecting-hoping for.
