Melting Frost
A very quick blip of the frost melting on some leaves in the garden this morning. There was a fairly hard frost but as the sun came up it was melting quickly.
As I took this, all around was a rustling noise of leaves falling off the bushes and trees. I think the only thing holding them on was the frost, so as the sun hit them and melted it they we falling off en mass. As one fell it tended to cause a chain reaction resulting in a leaf avalanche.
In one case I had focused the camera on a leaf but it fell before I could press the shutter. Mr Heisenberg was on to something I think.
