Nice Day Out

SoCal weather is so strange--on one day it can be the coldest day and then the next, when you have your jacket on expecting another cold day, IT GETS HOOOOT!

Anyway, this is the School of the Arts plaza, designed by the famed Maya Lin (of the Vietnam War Memorial fame). It cost over a million to build. It's very pretty, don't you think?

I shot a reception for the memorial concert of Marjorie Rawlins, a great benefactor to the UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts. She touched hundreds of people with her warmth and generosity and helped many students achieve their dreams.
