Peter's Hill

Dull and gloomy and BREEZY day today - after we were promised sunshine too! Grrr. I went to the Arboretum to photograph the Japanese maples, which are at their peak. Very hard work with them swaying about in the wind... but the maples themselves are gorgeous - flaming, magnificent, fire engine red. They would have been even better with a touch of sunshine! I picked up a bunch of fallen leaves and brought them home. There are quite a lot of leaves in the crisper right now... I'll have to find time to do something with them soon :)

This is the Boston skyline from Peter's Hill. Not a maple in sight.
