Bun

Or 'cupcake', or 'fairycake' depending where you're from, but it'll always be 'bun' to me being a Northern type.

A morning of computer bits and bobs, sorting out music and website stuff before an afternoon at an uninspiring out-of-town retail place. But we did get to ice buns for charity and enter a raffle to win a star prize - still waiting for the call to say we won tho', phone must be on the blink I reckon.

Reminded myself several times today of just how good the Strokes' 1st album is and then had to ponder whether the fact that I missed seeing them live at a tiny club venue back in 2000 was offset by the fact that I was away travelling around Venezuela at the time. Tough call.

Daughter on the blip with the bun has just been up several times with nightmares thanks to the slightly spooky Spiderwick Chronicles that we watched over teatime in what I was anticipating to be a nice family viewing slot. Mmm, maybe not. Younger daughter on the other hand is hard as nails, she loved it.
