Th: Jefferson
(Or, at least, that's what his signature looks like on official Monticello paraphernalia, though perhaps the dot on top is just an ink drip.)
Today, Anna and my mom and I spent about 6 hours exploring Jefferson's home in Charlottesville, learning about the man and his role in our country's history. It's a beautiful setting, of course, but one also can't help but be impressed by the man himself. Why is it that people from 200 years ago seem like they were so much smarter than anyone alive today?
This picture was taken on the grounds of Monticello, under one of the Mulberry trees that line the pathway above Jefferson's gardens. As you can tell, some of the 21st century snuck into the picture.
