Freedom

It's perhaps not often Asda will be linked to Paul & Rachel Chandler or Aung San Suu Kyi... But. A frustrating day of things just not quite going to plan (including not being around for LifeisaWheel taking Corrie for a walk on the beach minutes from the house), but an early evening trip to Asda of all places put things into context.

The Chandlers had been on the radio news in the car, followed by Myanmar's (Burma's) moment in the limelight, and here was I able pop out to the local supermarket for a few unnecessary but wanted supplies. Freedom to do as I please to spend as I please.

I guess, perhaps in part, thanks to some of those guys we fell silent for at 11.

Asda. For once a good sign of our times.
