I ventured out into the streets to try and capture a photograph that would do justice to the awful weather.

A long exposure of the rushing torrent pouring down the High Street perhaps or the evening lights dappling off the wet pavements, maybe even people scurrying to and fro foolishly attempting to keep the weather at bay with umbrellas which only end up being turned inside out. Then I saw this alleyway which summed it up perfectly.

I'm about to watch "A Christmas Carol" with the kids - surely it's too soon for this kind of thing? Poo and Humbug.
