In work this morning

11am.

No customer asking, no trolleys filling, people stop for a minute.
No babies screaming, no children laughing
Heads bowed in silence, in thought and contemplation.

A tear for those who have been silenced.
A place in our hearts for the many no longer walking with us.
And on again.
