Clogherhead

Quick overnight trip down south today to see my sister and her family in Clogherhead, Co. Louth. It was fairly dull when we got here so I knew I needed to get out quickly and get Blipping. I was thinking of Blipping the completely empty main street of the village as it's a bit out of the the way and very quiet, but a drive out to the harbour gave me this heron resting at the mouth of the harbour. The view behind the heron across the bay is Lurganboy and Dunany.

Sophie is the centre of attention at the moment with her cousins as her hand is bandaged up due to closing her mum's car door on her finger earlier in the week. She lost her whole fingernail and has had to have help with her homework. Milking it, she is!

PS: Sorry, but I can't comment today due to limited computer access. Will catch up tomorrow evening hopefully.
