Understudy Blip

Took this early today just incase I didn't manage a shot later. Been here before but the sun dog hanging over the Wallace Monument and the wet roads caught my eye today.

We were off to see Seth Lakeman in Edinburgh tonight, so it was a bit of a mad dash after work in hellish weather to catch the train through there. Well worth it though as it was a fantastic set from a sickeningly talented group of musicians. The venue - The Liquid Rooms - was great too, nice and intimate with an enthusiastic crowd. Bit of a shock having to pay to wash your hands in the loo though as they had an attendant in there hogging all the paper towels and selling lollipops. All a bit off-putting trying to pee when they're lurking in the background and as I didn't have anything smaller than a pound it was a damned expensive pee too. Should've asked if they took Visa maybe.

Anyhow, I'd held off posting this in the optimistic hope I'd get some good live music shots, but looking at them again in the cold light of day they could've been better, so the understudy here has stepped in instead.
