on a windy morning.

The bin had been blown by the heavy wind to the middle of the pavement and will probably move on until the wind subsides.

I'm not impressed by the arrival of Christmas related decorations/trees etc in shopwindows at this early stage. But, thinking about the wind sweeping inanimate objects across the streets and pavements I'm looking forward to hopefully blipping said Christmas trees at the beginning of January when the strong, stormy winds transport them across the streets and pavements before they get picked up by the Council.

Surprisingly nice day in the wind, albeit windy.

Have caught up on all the episodes of Downton Abbey and will now go back to reading Midnight's Children. Oh, and Poirot (David Suchet) has become an honoray Belgian, great!
