Views and views and paella
After a very minor irritation this morning, the day proved to be a very special one. Firstly, F and I visited Ca'n Abril, where Scobes stayed for several days last month. The most charming Pascal and Elina have done an amazing job renovating the building, very stylish indeed. And we had a fabulous fruit salad, coffee and croisant to get is going for the your, including going right up on the roof, for a fantastic 360 view of Soller. Thanks both for your excellent hospitality. Find them on bookings. They have a website under construction at the moment.
In fact they caught us at Café Paris a little later, catching up on L's news. Shocking, but she's not one to be outdone, Oh no....
And Anya had some good news, so as it was lunchtime, she treated us at Can Nantuna in Fornalutx. The best restaurant really, but not the most expensive, and I've only been here once in seven years. Hmm. Better change that again very soon. Fantastic paella and bright sunshine. We had to drag ourselves away. (By the way, order paella in advance on the phone for the best service with a smile)
A quiet night in with the boys now. I confessed to them I'd been out for lunch, and Agu said "Never mind, we had arroz brut (literally 'dirty rice', full of wonderful things) at school!" Fantastic, all happy
I've put some other shots
on the blog. I've got some others to do a 360 panorama. Any advice???
Oh and Scobes, regards from Pascal, and there's a few shots of the kitten, one on the blog. I'll send them to you for Owen so he can see if he's grown xxx
