Foul day

Mrs R is away for a few days on grandparenting duties so I commandeered her garden studio today to do some drawing.

I took this photo from the studio when it was persisting down just before the camera battery ran out. Today's Blip = Hobson's Choice.

The tree reaching in from the top left corner of the photo is a small leaved lime. To the left of that are huge copper beech trees that tower over the garden from the other side of the fence.

Leaves, beech mast and several twigs blow off the beech trees this time of year on to the roof of the studio. When it's windy - like today - the debris on the roof clatters about. When it rains hard - like today - the noise in there can be startling. Today was very noisy.
